Iris Peynado attended the prestigious Colegio Santa Teresita and studied ballet with Clara Elena Ramirez. At the age of 14 she joined the Theater Company Teatro Estudiantil directed by Romulo Rivas where she made her first appearance on stage.
At the age of eighteen she moved to London to study theater and a few years later she moved to Rome where she was discovered by a producer of RAI TV.

Founding member of the Studio De Fazio Cultural Association.
Spokesperson of Studio De Fazio and of Dominique De Fazio’s work with all social and public institutions such as the Tuscany Region, the Municipality of Florence, the Lazio Region, the Municipality of Rome, the Spoleto Festival among others.

2004 Key collaborator in the organization of important events for the promotion of art and culture of the Dominican Republic in Rome.

2004 Private cultural event at the Ara Pacis Museum in Rome for the Diplomatic Corps at the Holy See, coordinated by H.E. Rafael Marion-Landais, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Holy See.

2006 He actively participated in the foundation of the chapel “Nuestra Senora de la Altagracia”, the patron saint of the Dominican Republic, in the Basilica of San Giovanni dei Fiorentini, Via Giulia, Rome. By obtaining the main painting of the famous Dominican artist Leon Bosch for the chapel, as well as the donation of the main marble inscription for the chapel dedicated to H.E.R. Cardinal Nicolás de Jesús López Rodriguez.

2015 Organizing Committee of the República Dominicana Verso Expo photographic exhibition, curated by the award-winning photographer Pedro Genaro Rodriguez, for the promotion of the Dominican Republic Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015, Museo del Vittoriano, Rome.
